A family-friendly day celebrating all things local,
raising funds to restore our pub fire

About the Day
Join us for a relaxed, family-friendly day celebrating all things local, as we come together to raise funds to restore our pub fire. We’re determined to get it burning again this winter, and this is our way of bringing the community together to make it happen.
From 3pm, the afternoon will be centred around family-friendly entertainment, local artisans, great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re popping in for a drink, bringing the family along, or settling in for the day, there’ll be plenty to enjoy.
local ales and ciders
We’ll be kicking off our Happy Hour for the Fire from 3–5pm, with £4 pints and £2 half pints on our draft beers and lagers. Every penny from these drinks will go directly towards restoring our chimney.
At the same time, we’ll be launching our local ale and cider tastings, running throughout the afternoon and into the evening (until we run out!). If you enjoy local drinks, this is a great opportunity to try something new while supporting a meaningful cause.

raffle and prizes
Throughout the day, we’ll also be running a raffle with some fantastic prizes, including:
*Sunday Lunch for 4 with a bottle of English sparkling wine
*Fish & Chips supper for 2 with a bottle of English sparkling wine
*A gift basket filled with local goodies and sparkling wine
....Plus many more prizes
live music
From 5:30pm, food service continues as the day moves into a more relaxed evening atmosphere, before we round things off with live music from 8pm.
If you haven’t visited us in a while, this is the perfect excuse. Come along, enjoy the day, and help support your local independent pub.

breakfast and lunch service
Please note: Breakfast and lunch service will run as normal prior to 3pm, with no interruption to service.
